How to Hide Menu Search from the Start Menu

Hiding the Search menu from Start Menu: Menu Search is provided by Windows XP aims to assist us in facilitating the search of a file / folder or computer in a LAN network or Internet network. But for some reason, eg security reasons, we can hide the menu from the Start menu. One way to hide it is to use the facility gpedit. Here are tips and tricks.

First, open gpedit by clicking START >> Run >> then type gpedit.msc and then OK or ENTER until the group will appear the windows policy editor (gpedit).

Second, klik User Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> Start and Menu Taskbar >>

Third, in the right panel select (click) Remove Search menu from Start Menu to get a window Remove Search menu from Start Menu, as shown below.

Fourth, of the three options, select the option "Enabled" then select OK or Apply.
Fifth, close the window gpedit
Sixth, finished.
Now, make sure the Search menu is not appearing again on the START menu.
